Oak is widely used to make route posts. The 10 x 10 cm and 12 x 12 cm posts are often used here.
The head is usually sawn off at an angle. We make these oak route posts to size. So we can cut them to various lengths. We recommend putting 1/3 of the post in the ground.
The oak posts are often found on footpaths and mountain bike routes.
