Untreated oak sleepers
We have ample constant stock of the most common sizes at our storage sites in the Netherlands and in Belgium. The most common sizes of freshly sawn oak sleepers are:
- Oak sleepers: approx. 1.8 m x 20 cm x 10 cm
- Oak sleepers: approx. 2.0 m x 20 cm x 10 cm
- Oak sleepers: approx. 2.5 m x 20 cm x 10 cm
- Oak sleepers: approx. 2.6 m x 26 cm x 15 cm a € 65,- p.st excl VAT and incl VAT € 78,65 p.st
Oak sleepers are mainly known as garden sleepers. In addition, oak sleepers are used for horse stables, meadow posts and corner posts. They are also very suitable for hanging country fences.
Oak used beams
Some applications still require used railway sleepers. These sleepers are treated with black creosote oil, allowing the sleepers to keep for years. In several cases, these sleepers themselves last more than 30 years.
We supply the used railway sleepers only in the best quality: German oak sleepers 1st choice. The railway sleepers are used as pasture fencing, corner posts and horse stables. We supply good quality oak railway sleepers at very competitive prices. Nowadays, railway sleepers may only be used for industrial purposes. For this reason, they are no longer sold to private individuals.
